By accessing and using PasteWords ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

PasteWords is a temporary file-sharing service that allows users to upload files and share them via unique room keys. The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind.

You are solely responsible for:

• All files you upload to the Service
• Ensuring you have the right to upload and share the files
• The content of your files and compliance with applicable laws
• Keeping room keys and passphrases secure
• Understanding that anyone with a room key can access the files
• Making backups of important files before uploading
• Any consequences of sharing room keys with others

5. Prohibited Content

You may NOT upload files that:

• Are illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
• Infringe on intellectual property rights, copyrights, or trademarks
• Contain viruses, malware, or malicious code
• Violate privacy rights or contain personal data without consent
• Are pornographic or sexually explicit involving minors
• Promote hate speech, violence, or discrimination

While we do not actively monitor uploads, we reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms if reported or discovered.

6. No Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties of availability, reliability, or uptime
• Warranties that files will be secure or remain accessible
• Warranties that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Any damages resulting from unauthorized access to your files
• Any damages resulting from service interruptions or errors
• Any claims by third parties related to files you upload

YOUR SOLE REMEDY FOR DISSATISFACTION WITH THE SERVICE IS TO STOP USING IT.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PasteWords, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Files you upload or share
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

9. Automatic File Deletion

All files are automatically deleted after 30 days of inactivity OR immediately after first download if that option is enabled. Once deleted, files CANNOT be recovered. We are not responsible for deleted files.

10. No Support or Monitoring

We do not provide customer support, technical assistance, or content monitoring. The Service operates automatically without human oversight. We do not actively monitor, review, or verify uploaded content.

11. Service Modifications and Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice
• Change these Terms at any time
• Limit or restrict access to the Service
• Remove content that violates these Terms

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration to the extent permitted by law.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
